Governments exist to serve the people. Information on how officials conduct the public business and spend taxpayers’ money must be readily available and easily understood. This transparency allows good and just governance. We use Balletopedia's 10 point Checklist for our Transparency Rubric, and add our Open Data, and Smart Communities efforts to round it out.


 
Budgets

Budgets - Prepared yearly, and approved by the Assembly, the budget is the Borough's annual spending plan. It goes into effect on July 1.

CAFR - A Comprehensive Annual Financial Report is a set of audited financial statements that detail spending for a fiscal year. It is mandated by state and federal law.
